Hey Michal
The goal was clear out old stock. So turning a profit isnt usually priority. Break even at best is great.

In this campaign, the amount earned may not cover expenses like the cost of stock and the prize. However, the leads captured on social media and email is valuable to Floafers, especially when they are about to launch a new products or release new stock. They can send out promos to the new captured leads and hopefully do enough sales to surpass any previous loses.

Its crucial that you also find out about asking people to buy your stock to enter. This is usually not legal. You must allow people to enter for free. Offer additional entires to those that buy stock from you.

Regards
Jack

Can we consider it a successful campaign?

I understand there are another achievements – new mailing subscribers, new followers on social networks but in the end of the day the purpose of the campaign was to sell out the stock in order to generate money to cover the expenses related with new products – and from this perspective you ended up negative…

I am asking because I am in similar situation and I want to reduce the inventory costs and generate some money to buy new products but such results would not satisfy me. Also 8k in revenue is not really a significant revenue for such brand and it significantly less then daily revenue in main Christmas season.

Thank you in advance for your feedback.

Michal
