In reply to Deanna Key. Hey Deanna It highly depends on the niche and brand but usually, 5-10 bonus actions are best. More than this will be too much effort for entrants to put in just to qualify. This can lead to many users being upset because they haven't won or it can discourage people from entering.

In regards to ‘bonus actions’ – I’d love to see some research on how many is too many. In the past, viral contests seemed to be more popular than they are today. They included a heavy set of bonus actions that would have taken a Herculean effort to get through just to qualify. Those aren’t as prevalent anymore and I’m wondering if there is any data that says ‘X’ is a good number of bonuses (or requirements) and ‘Y’ is too many. Would be interesting to see.
